Mike,

I wanted to give you a little update from this afternoon. My jaw kept seizing 'til I took the necessary photos (including one of us in a canoe!), memorabilia, even a garment from the dearly departed's [ex-husband] mother out to the most private area of my back yard--lit a couple of smudge bundles--said some much needed mumbo jumbo and off went the pain.

To top it off, N. and I took the kids and their boyfriend/girlfriend to one of our favorite family Italian restaurants and had a splendid dinner including cheesecake for dessert! It was fabulous--we told them we were celebrating the "middle of winter" day and left it at that. They were totally in awe!

Thanks so much. I can’t begin to tell you what a day it's been, besides I have a strong hunch that you know it anyway. But, it's always nice to hear it from the horse's mouth, so to speak, you make a tremendous difference in people's lives. Thank you.
